The public can attend a City Council Meeting in person and sign up to speak before the meeting. Members of the public will be allowed 3 minutes during the “Public Comment” section of the City Council agenda.
Due to the City’s Local State of Emergency related to COVID-19, public meetings will take place through the use of Communications Media Technology (CMT). Interested persons wishing to participate in the meeting during public comments must register with the City Clerk IN ADVANCE. Interested persons can contact City Clerk, Ashlee McDonough by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide their name, address, and telephone number to register. Registration for participation in the meeting will not be accepted after 12:00 pm on the day that the meeting is scheduled. There will be no calls from the public accepted during the meeting who have not preregistered. Length of time allowed for public comment will be dependent on the number of registrations received.
