We are at the beginning of Hurricane Preparedness Week! Hurricane Season is less than a month away, now is the time to assess potential risks to your home and/or business to mitigate against costly impacts.
Be sure to find out if you are located in a storm surge, hurricane evacuation zone, or if you’re in a home that would be unsafe during a hurricane. If you are, determine where you would go if told to evacuate. Identify your closest shelter or coordinate with someone who doesn’t live in an evacuation zone or unsafe home and choose your evacuation destination. Be sure to account for your pets, as most local shelters do not allow pets. Be proactive and have a plan in place beforehand. #hurricaneseason2022 #beprepared
