NEW CHIEF OF POLICE
A new Chief of Police has been selected for the Port Richey Police Department, replacing Chief Gerard DeCanio. We want to extend a warm welcome to Chief Cyrus Robinson to the Port Richey Police Department .
Chief Robinson comes to us from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, where he has worked for the past 31 years. Chief Robinson was selected among 58 respected candidates. He will be fulfilling his new role as the Police Chief in Port Richey starting July 13, 2020.
